London Tube Strike

London tube strike paralyzed the routine life in the busy city of  London. The tube carries one billion passenger a year. The citizens of  London forced above ground in search of buses and trains and the streets of London were packed with people walking to work during rush hour, and roads were thronged with traffic. The strike with another 48-hour strike planned next week, is a call of RMT and TSSA unions in protest at the closure of all London Underground's 278 ticket offices, with the loss of 950 jobs. Unions warn many stations will become "ghost stations and feel unsafe".
