The top leadership of armed forces decides to take terrorism heads on, on Tuesday in a high-level meeting. It is a good decision at the right time to hold the peaceful upcoming election. It was decided in the meeting to adopt a comprehensive strategy against terrorists. The statement came after the announcement of the taliban to withdraw from talks. This was probably the first official response from the top military leadership since the TTP offered talks in December last year. The meeting also discussed and reiterated the support of the armed forces to the Election Commission of Pakistan in the forthcoming elections which also comes in line with national duty.
